Sharing is caring. Here’s a very useful jump-off point for domain name research, a collection of Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) decisions up to February 2005. Part of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO)’s site on the UDRP – if you’re new to this, WIPO wrote the original drafts of a domain name disputes procedure that ICANN then adapted for the UDRP itself, and deal with arbitration etc now. It’s presented as a series of extrapolated statements about the case law, with dissenting/contrasting decisions included. UDRP decisions are infamously contradictory. The Berkman Center (Harvard) has its own version, although it’s unfortunately three years out of date.
